The cottage was lovely and cosy, perfect for our group of five and our dog. the location was beautiful, with stunning views of the surrounding area. We also appreciated the delicious cake that was left for us as a welcome gesture.

None of the local pubs were serving food, which was a bit disappointing. we felt that the bathroom window could use a blind for more privacy.

The cottage is perfect for a short break to celebrate a wedding anniversary and visit RSPB Leighton Moss. The location offers beautiful views of Warton Crags. The layout of the cottage is quirky and feels like a home away from home. The host left a delicious cake as a welcome treat. The cottage has all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.
